During the Covid19 lockdown period many of us had a lot of time on our hands. I don’t know about you but I made many plans to catch up on all the things I complain I don’t usually have the time to do. It’s surprising how difficult it can sometimes be to motivate ourselves to get on with things sometimes, we are creatures of habit… but there is hope – we are not left to our own devices!
Sometimes, I think we can switch between being like Saul, or being like David, as we navigate our walk through the Christian life. Where is your heart today? Do you trust and seek the Lord in all things, or are you content doing your own thing?

Stewardship is an important issue for the people of God. Above all else that we should be good stewards of, the Gospel message is chief among them, because the Gospel message is the power of God.
Today, we might think we are getting on well if we are able to hobnob with the best society has to offer: look how excited we get at photo opportunities and selfies with celebrities. We must put following Jesus at the top of our agendas…
We are intrinsically valuable to God and He cares for all our needs. Since God cares so much for us we need not concern ourselves with how we might flourish. We may store up wealth, but in the end it cannot change the outcome of our lives. We must live as though Jesus could return at any minute.
